Since it is a one bedroom, the ideal fit would be a single person or a couple.
Located right on the beautiful Yaquina River, this home is only 10 minutes in either direction to Toledo or Newport. This makes it easy to access groceries, supplies and to enjoy restaurants and nightlife, but still come back to be in a beautiful, relaxing and peaceful country retreat.
This exquisite addition was built in 2014 with modern architecture, and style, while also providing a unique look and feel of country living. With vaulted ceilings, genuine wood floors, a huge bay window, and a full kitchen, fireplace, with all appliances, this is a perfect opportunity to get away from the grind and the hustle and bustle of the suburbs. It has two separate private entrances with a small fenced backyard.
There are two gorgeous skylights both in the living room and kitchen, and the entire property is surrounded by beautiful evergreen trees, alders and a large variety of foliage. There are also several wild mushroom patches along with a large meadow and two small flowing creeks.
Sitting on a 5 acre hobby farm in progress with epic views of the river and its own private pond. Along with the occasional wildlife encounters, including deer, bald eagles, salamanders, nutria and frogs, make this a truly remarkable place.
This unit is partially furnished but can be emptied upon request. This includes a fully functional kitchen, washer/dryer combo, dishwasher, coffee maker, crock pot, microwave, cookware and all utensils.
In addition, there is a sunroom with two separate doors and plenty of windows and a small fenced backyard. Parking is currently available for two compact cars or one full size truck or SUV. There are walking paths throughout the property and plenty of room for gardening and opportunities for foraging. All utilities including WiFi, water, electrical, sewage and garbage are included. Pets are not permitted, but possibly considered, with an additional security deposit. Rent is $1895 per month with first month, along with a $1500 security deposit due upon approval of application. The lease is currently for 3 months, with an easy option to extend it 9 more months, for a total of a year if the tenant is a responsible and good fit. No smoking is allowed inside as well as absolutely no illegal activities or substances. The ideal tenant would be laid back, clean, kind, honest and appreciate county living. Soon, there will be some chickens and likely goats on the property in addition to already two small dogs and a few sweet barn cats. So you must love and respect animals.
