Summary:
Overall this is an excellent boat with a lot of comforts and storage but also with ample space for the serious fisherman as well.
The twin 200's are probably the ideal power for this vessel especially when you are maxed out for a tuna trip.
Everything functions as it should and when the boat is not out on the water or being washed in the driveway it resides in our shop.
The 4 blade props and Permatrim's are just something I like to do to help keep the bow down when motors are bracket mounted.
This boat has a very tall gunnel for safety as well as a self bailing deck that works very well.
The bow on the 250 Alaskan does not tend to dip into oncoming steep chop which is nice considering our local conditions.
Fuel wise I will burn from 60-70 gallons on a 12-14 hour tuna day out roughly 50 miles and I don't pack lightly on those days.
The cabin on this boat is the #4 Hewes Craft cabin called MLC (Mid length cabin) with head and sleeper/bench seat combo.
