Very nice, antique/vintage Chinese wedding basket with handle - this would make a lovely sewing basket too!. This woven 2 tier, lidded basket is adorned with beads on the top lid. The top tier basket is lined and tufted - as well as inside the lid! Beautifully done. Signed. Expected patina from age - a stunning piece.
These baskets were used to bring food to newlyweds. SEE PHOTOS
