Principal Accountabilities:
With the proper training from the manager/Qualified employee, you will be required to learn and become familiarized with our computer program (Quickbooks). This program allows us to price out customers and keep track of what we have on hand.
• Constantly and consistently work in all areas of the lumber yard that the manager assigns you to and perform all tasks to the best of your ability.
• Cleaning and organizing in all areas that are assigned and need to be addressed.
• Give suggestions to Manager that you notice need attention in any way.
• You will need to provide customer service to all customers (loading materials/ answering questions)
• May perform other jobs as assigned.
• You will need to come to work on time to the days you are scheduled to work.
Physical Demands:
Medium Work: Exerting up to 125 lbs. of force occasionally and or up to 80 lbs. of force frequently and/or up to 60 lbs of force constantly to move objects. Medium work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
Handling- Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with your hands.
Equipment used: Planer, Skilsaw, Chop Saw, Impact gun, Forklift.
(All equipment that the yard associate will use, will be given the proper training and safety protocol to perform the tasked asked of them.)
