Purchased from Hatching time last year. But I hurt my shoulder so we don't do turkeys anymore. hardly used. I think I paid $900 or so. And it came unassembled. Took a lot to get the fingers placed. You can use for chickens but I would not recommend the Cornish Cross birds as they are so delicate. But I think old hens and roosters, although I have another one that I use.
