Job Description:
West Verge Construction LLC is hiring a siding and carpentry assistant for upcoming residential projects running from late July through early November, with potential for long-term work.
The immediate projects include a full tear-off, re-side, and paint on a residence in Netarts, followed by a large cedar shingle siding installation in Pacific City.
Compensation:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Starting wage depends on experience)
Potential for a wage increase following completion of the first project based on performance.
Requirements:
1 to 3 years of residential carpentry or siding experience.
Must be comfortable working at heights (work will be performed off pump jack scaffolding systems).
Reliable transportation to and from job sites in Netarts and Pacific City (Valid driver's license is a strong plus).
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
Basic hand tools and tool belt preferred (e.g., tape measure, speed square, utility knife).
Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently and work outdoor coastal conditions.
