Very nice 1976 Gibson Dread model Mk35. If this was 2 years old, I'd give it a very good rating. At the 50 years old that it is, I'd call it excellent. A couple of very minor dings keeps it from being Mint. Have developed Dupuytrens Contracture (Viking Hand) in my left hand and it's causing me to struggle with any standard scale length guitar. Recently sold my Taylor and Bedell, but was holding out on this one. Have given in to playing shorter scale guitars like Taylor GS mini (23+1/2), Martin Jr (24) for now and hoping things don't progress. Have sacrificed sound for playability at this point, the standard 25+1/2 scale is just too much of a stretch. A simple G chord is no longer simple.
Not sure what value this piece holds, so thought I'd make it available to the basic offer process. First offer that "seems" reasonable will own it. Comes with Gator soft case. Any questions, let me know. Thanks
