Excellent condition with a just installed K&K Pure Mini pickup. Also a fresh set of Elixir nanoweb phosphor bronze 12/53 strings.
All solid wood construction great player!
The academy 10 came in two versions, one
With no electronics ( the 10 ) and one with electronics ( the 10 E ) I purposely chose the 10
Because the Taylor factory pickups are not bad but not good either.So I installed the K&K ( I have installed many) and the guitar sounds great
Plugged in . I play 19 times a month and I bought this guitar for a backup and for small group sessions. I needed the pickup for the larger room events and although it is a student model it was no disappointment especially playing plugged in.
I am upgrading to a Martin for my backup and am passing this on .
