Purebred sarplaninac almost yearling

Almost a year old. He needs guidance and time. I do not have the time or a well-trained LGD to show him how to behave.

He was purchased from Idaho(born on a sheep farm away from people), then brought down here. Just a week later when he was almost accepting us as his new people, he hurt himself somehow and required a surgery to remove his shoulder/front leg. He then had to spend a few months in the garage with leash walking. During that time, he forgot how to behave with small goats and got way too much freedom and "played" with a small goat. He is very Leary of me and runs, but he wags his tail when he sees my hubby.

He has the lineage to be a good guardian, but doesnt have the teacher. I am hoping i can find a home for him while he is still young and learning. I am not setup for him. asking only $500 rehoming fee. I have over $4,000 in him.

Or he would make a great watch-dog. He was not aggressive at all during his emergency vet visit.
