The home is 2 minutes from ocean beaches, and 5 minutes for groceries and restaurants, banks, etc. Newport, 36 miles N, has a Walmart, Fred Meyers, Safeway, Oceana Co-op, a movie theater, gym/pool, and the Hospital are a short drive.
The home has an open floor plan with lots of windows. Large kitchen with a center island, great for multiple cooks or group gatherings. The backyard backs up to lush green forest! W/D included. All shared spaces much be kept clean and tidy. Off street parking.
Two bedrooms and full private bath at one end of home available. One room furnished with Q-sz bed and nightstands, lamps, the other can be used for a home office, a child’s room, a second bedroom or ready for your needs. Currently the 2nd room has bookshelves, rug, desk and chair.
Homeowner is recovering from health challenges, so the home is designed as a HEALING SPACE... lots of light and space for meditation or Tai Chi/Yoga or to sit snuggled up with a good book, journal, uplifting music, quiet reflection and supportive conversation.
Personal and cleaning products need to be green and clean - no perfumes, hairspray or fabric softeners, or other harsh/toxic chemicals, etc.
Rooms are hardwired - ONLY - for internet, cable and phone. Cell phones must be turned off or on airplane mode at night to keep the home environment low in EMF/EMR so brains can rest and recover - this is a must at nighttime! Home landline and Internet are available for local and standard long-distance calls or you may put in a private line if you prefer. No wi-fi. Small, well-behaved dog, may be considered if you are a responsible pet owner (with an additional non-refundable pet security of $150). No cats (sorry, I am allergic). Small fenced back yard with doggie door. No smoking or recreational drugs permitted. No criminal history. $40 one-time non-refundable fee for background and credit check. Rent is $1250+ utilities. Utilities will be divided by number of persons in the home – approx. $125 summer / $175 winter.
Security Deposit is $700 for the rooms to hold the unit while background checks are done. Thereafter, held in security for any damage during occupancy, fully refundable. Upon move-in, the $700 security deposit and $1250 is due, with a plan to collect last month’s rent over three months if this would be helpful.
