We are seeking a skilled, dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. If you take pride in operating equipment safely and efficiently while delivering high-quality work, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, rollers, skid steers, and other construction machinery.
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation.
• Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment while following all OSHA and company safety policies.
• Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.
• Report equipment issues and jobsite hazards promptly.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
