The space
Tiny Pines is a brand new house - with the privacy and comforts of home, close to the conveniences of town and Hwy 101. Tiny Pines is perfect for couples, small families, or getaway with friends.
With each booking, Tiny Pines offers use of the 400 square foot tiny home, gravel yard, firepit area and covered porch, a kitchen stocked with full size appliances, utensils, cookware, dishware, and coffee maker and full size washer and dryer. Cozy up in the private bedroom with a snug queen bed and spacious loft upstairs with two single beds (that can easily be moved to make one big bed). *NOTE: The loft is best suited for kids, as the the loft is under 4 feet in ceiling height. The stairs inside the home leading to the loft are narrow and a bit steep. * Relax on the front porch, picnic area, and gather around the firepit. Warm up to cozy baseboard heating. No air conditioning, rarely needed on the Oregon Coast. Essentials including quality linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hairdryer are provided for guest convenience. A "starter pack" of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish and hand soap and laundry detergent is provided. A “tiny house” comes with a smaller sized water heater, so we suggest you space out your showers.
Natural light fills the home from its many windows with views of the sky and treetops. Any time of year, catch a glimpse of the sunny blue sky, the rain drops or treetops gently swaying in the wind.
In addition, there is a full hookup RV site (RV2, see photos and below for details) available for an additional fee.
Guest access
The versatile layout of this property allows you to bring your RV and stay in the tiny house to spread out during your road trip. Guests have access to the entire home, yard, firepit and front porch space. Enjoy kitchen essentials and full size appliances, comfortable beds and laundry amenities! Pets are NOT allowed inside the tiny house at any time. We offer a full hookup RV site (RV2, see photos) for an additional fee, for those who would like a separate space for friends, teens or extended family to come along and enjoy the coast with you. The RV site booking is only available to guests who have booked Tiny Pines. The fee is $45 nightly to use the RV site and it includes full hookups (water, sewer, power).
To clarify, if any person occupies a recreation vehicle on-site (such as vans, motorhomes, toy haulers) whether using hookups or not, an RV site fee of $45 nightly will be assessed. We only allow one RV to be occupied on the property at a time.
For occupancy, the maximum allowed in the tiny house is 4 persons. For the RV site booking, there is a maximum of 4 persons. That means no more than 9 people total on the property at any time. No tent camping allowed on the property.
The RV site can accommodate only one maximum 45 foot RV. Codes to the locked utility hookups (electrical, water and sewer) will be provided in the check-in instructions sent prior to the trip. No pets are allowed in the tiny home. Dogs may remain in the RV (no barking and noise nuisance) and must otherwise be leashed at all times.
Other things to note
Generally speaking, we have a long driveway, as shown in the photos. There is room for ATVs UTVs SXS and most trailers within our private gravel parking area. The property is located at the end of the street on a cul-de-sac. There is no street parking. Trailers must be backed in or backed out and there is no room to turn vehicles around on the property. There is a utility pole on the street as well.
Pets are NOT allowed inside the tiny house at any time. Dogs may remain in RV when an RV site is reserved and must otherwise be leashed at all times.

Tiny Pines is a convenient few minutes off Hwy 101 and less than a one-mile walk (or drive) to McKay’s Market grocery store and some of Lakeside's best eateries. Lakeside is a small vacation and retirement community destination with a McKay’s Market grocery store, Dollar General, a liquor store, cafes, local tavern pubs, hardware store and a post office.
For those with a larger group (up to 6 people), see the separate listing for the adjoining property next door, Whispering Pines, also available for rent. Both properties share a fence with a gate between them for access.
Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance, and look into credit card’s benefits to see if they offer travel insurance protection as well. Cards such as Chase Sapphire, Amex and others provide such protection like cancellation insurance to their card members.
Smart TV streaming is available using the Roku guest account on the swivel mounted TV to access your own favorite accounts like Netflix, Hulu and Disney+.
